DX Callgrim Fragarian

One of the funnest parts of this whole process is deciding what to do next. Much thought went into this latest addition to the Callgrim roster. This one was a no brainer. Nothing says "badass" like the stink of strawberries.

I dedicate this figure to my little sister. She was as important and influential a part of my growing up as Star Wars was. She still is.

The "Strawberry" Callgrim Fragarian figure smells like strawberries and has a bunch of paint apps. He is the first DX (Deluxe) figure to date. He has more paint applications than the Standard Callgrim figure and less than the DRT (Deluxe Real Type) figures. He is shot in 4 different color plastics. Price tag: $20. Drop tomorrow night at 9, MY time- you can figure out when that is.

It's about time! I am finally able to process orders. Everything is ready to go. You guys should start seeing the first shipping notices tonight. I will try to get everything out over the next few days. Now is the time to re-hit me with any special instructions or requests. I must  again thank everyone involved for being so patient with me. This one truly tested the boundaries and pushed the limits on all levels. Everything I do in life is a sort of learning work in progress. I learned a ton with this project... what to do... what not to do, and everything in between. I will try to make the next one at least a little less painful. Thanks for hanging in there. I hope that when you have the toys in hand- you will see how much went into this project... and forget about how long this asshole made you wait. Thanks!

Ready to Deploy...

Heads Up

I am hesitant to say when you guys will finally start seeing shipping notices... I am a little gun shy in that department...but I will say this- The PJ has been activated! I have enlisted the handsome fella to help out with the final stages of the project. This was supposed to have happened about three weeks ago... Damn what a rough month. We did get a ton done over the last week or so. We are almost caught up!

16 WEEEKS?!?

No- but it seems like the Wraith launch was at least 16 weeks ago. I can still see the light at the end of the tunnel... it's just a little bit farther than I thought. It is taking way longer than the usual long time to get everything together over here. Please continue to bear with me. I have been rolling with a bunch of unexpected punches. (Mostly to the face, neck and ass.) Please distract yourself with new Glyos stuff as Matt will surely have all of his shipping taken care of before you guys start seeing shipping notices from me. I will not let anything out of here before it is time. Thanks for hanging in there! You guys truly are the best.

16 YEARS

   I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have the boys at the ready. I should be finishing things up next week. Thank you guys for being so patient.
   Tonight I am going out on the town with the chick that bank rolls this wild experiment that is Callgrim... my boss and wife of 16 years, Maeve. She is a trooper. I am amazed everyday at how much shit she is willing to put up with. She is a great crazy person wrangler.

Weathering the Storm

Callgrim's scarf nearly killed me last time, so it made perfect sense to do giant capes and shoulder pauldrons this time around. The capes are first screen printed then battle damaged by implementing a number of complex weathering processes. The capes are first grubbed up by rolling them in dirt. They are then stiffened up with acrylic medium. Next, the capes are torn, beat up, stabbed and burned. Finally, I touch them up with a few paint washes.

Thank you so much to everyone that participated in this crazy experiment! The success of this has already green lit the next project. I love that I can do what needs to be done without compromise...I can't thank you guys enough for that.
So, per usual, don't expect shipping notices any time soon. I still have a ton to do on these before I send them out. I will keep you guys posted here with pics and sketches and content along the way.
You guys are wicked awesome.
