In a last ditch attempt to take Blattaria, Riac unleashes his mercenary hordes against Callgrim and his Vhorren Guard. Let the battle begin...

The Callgrim Custom Corps 1 is ready to roll! Thanks everyone for your patience during a very long wait. It took a while for me to get my shit together- but together my shit now is. This thing has evolved and gone through so many changes along the way. I wanted to make sure that the first Callgrim Custom Corps was a good one. I am finally happy with it as a complete body of work. It is finally ready.

I set some challenging parameters for myself along the way... I wanted to stick with builds made strictly with parts from the Callgrim store. l wanted to have all hand painted dudes with a few soft capes, scarves and cloaks mixed in. Some of the soft goods are screen printed. I sacrificed a bunch of my favorite tees and a few pairs of underwear to the cause. I put a ton of blood, sweat, tears and other fluids into this beast... I hope you guys dig it. Each figure comes with at least as many parts as comes with a complete Callgrim... sometimes more. Each figure also comes with a hand painted card.

So here's the deal- This week, Friday July 8th at 9:00pm EDT... Callgrim Custom Corps 1.

A long, long time ago... some jackass said he was releasing a Custom Corps...

This process has been insanely painful and rewarding creatively for me. I could go on forever making new guys and tweaking the "done" guys- but I know I have to stop and release these guys soon or I will lose my mind completely. I appreciate everyone's patience... I am almost there.

In the mean time- I hope you will enjoy a few more batches of teaser pics to tide you (and me) over... This latest batch draws inspiration from one of the most influential stories ever told. I had a blast with my Boba Fettish here.

Callgrim Custom Corps

It's been a long time threatened- I know I've been rambling on about this Callgrim Custom Corps to a bunch of cats for some time now. It is finally almost probably ready... just a few more tweaks here and there. I loaded this thing with a ton of references to many of my favorite things. I hope this will be well received.

Thank you to everyone who has posted positive feedback here on the blog. You guys really are fueling me in the home stretch... even the negative comments fire me up and drive me to do better and try to push things further... (after I come out of a homicidal furniture smashing tear filled rage...) Overall the response is inspiring. I will give a release date only when each and every one of these guys are where they need to be. Each dude will get the final inspection and seal of approval from from my brother in arms. Matt is my QC department.

Callgrim Vhorren Commander

Mobilizing his powerful Vhorren Guard, Callgrim prepares Fortress Blattaria for an all out assault led by his old rival- the rogue Order soldier known as Riac. Gathered from the most dangerous lost Order regiment, Riac's tenuous alliance of splinter groups and mercenaries stands as a dark reminder to Callgrim of just how far the Order has fallen during his absence.

Alien Argus Custom Group Show

I am very grateful to have been invited to put something together for Mark Nagata's Alien Argus Custom Show. Thanks guys!

I had to play with Alien Argus for a bit before I chopped into him... What an awesome figure! I knew I wanted to do another rider and mount again from the start... but where to begin? This was a weird one. So many textures! Suddenly it made sense- Meat Bike.

Argrim is a Flesh Master. No- not a porn star... He can control meat and flesh of all kinds. He can be healer or destroyer. Argrim is often hired by criminal denizens of the underworld to heal the grievous wounds that are not uncommon in that line of work. The wealthy celebrities of Metran are also known to contact him to perform complex vanity flesh manipulations and breast augmentations.

Argrim has a deadly cutthroat reputation like most freelancers in his circle. Few know of Argrim's true intentions and motives. He donates all of his earnings to hospitals and places of healing. He secretly visits battlefields and war torn communities to use his gifts on the wounded, helpless, broken and needy. He is really a nice guy at heart.

The Meat Bike is an extension of Argrim. It has a pulse.

As usual, I am late with this custom. Like a jerk, I missed the opening. I bit off more than I could chew last month. Special thanks go out to Aaron for bearing with me. Check out the show! There were a ton of orders! I was overwhelmed for a bit there. Thank you again to everyone that made this the biggest Callgrim launch to date! Glyos fans truly are the best. Thank you for being so patient! The majority of orders have gone out. The more recent stuff is still being sorted through... I still have a few stragglers to deal with- some international stuff and special requests... I am driving the folks at my tiny post office crazy.

Assembly Line

All of the orders have been processed. We are building like crazy over here. I have assembled an elite team to help put the last minute special builds together. Heartfelt thanks to Grilo, PJ and Drew for getting me back on track. These guys have been working until there is no sensation left in their battered digits. I will be getting stuff out soon.
