The first Callgrim art book is here! It is a 5x7 collection of the insert card art. The book includes all of the insert card paintings to date and a few other pieces. For this first batch of books, I will do an original sketch on the back page of each book. They will cost $15. I also found a small stack of Gear's Edge comics kicking around, available now for $10. Check out the new section of the shop: Memory Banks.

SDCC was a blast this year. Matt again generously shared the booth with super talented artists from around the world. Dark Santa makes it happen. Marc and Megan held the fort. We enjoyed checking out tons of toys and art. We met a whole bunch of cool people and ate a mountain of fish tacos and bacon double cheeseburgers. Fig Lab's Global Figure Symposium Crossover was a huge success. There were new pairings of artist crossovers every couple of hours. There was so much to see and take in! The collab with Ayako and I was great- beauty and the beast. We have a few projects lined up. Vectar showed up and nearly got us all thrown out of the place. He took over the booth and hustled a bunch of exclusives including the Delic 'Grimsuck figures. (Onell vs Suckadelic vs Rawshark) I had a blast hanging with everyone. Some really great people are into this stuff. The best part of the con for me by far was when Mori (Real x Head) unleashed the (sort of surprise) Callgrim vinyl big boy... It truly brought a tear to my eye. Mori is the master. He is a Samurai.

It's been a crazy busy past few weeks. Thanks again- you guys ordered a ton of stuff! The last of the orders to go out before SDCC are shipped. I am all packed up and ready to go. Check out booth #4937. I will be doing some fun collab stuff with Ayako Takagi as part of Fig Lab's "The Crossover" / Global Figure Symposium 2010. Uamou and Callgrim! It's gonna be wicked awesome...
Another successful mission! I give special thanks to the Glyos community for it's continued support. You guys are great. Callgrim is feeling the love! I also have to give thanks to Matt and Marcus for going way above and beyond on this one. Callgrim's first passcode was very well received. Callgrim badassery abound...

The new ranks are ready to roll! Refresh the shop, media, and gallery sections. New colors, the first Callgrim game and a new prisoner are waiting for you to check out!
The next wave of Callgrim figures will be available this week! We are on track to launch this Tuesday night, but we'll post an exact time before then. There will be a bunch of new figures, plus a few accessories. Also get ready for Callgrim's first interactive adventure as the skullface invades the next installment of the Passcode!

I recently did a bunch of weird painted pieces for The Art Hustle project. I had a blast fumbling around the studio in search of cool reference material for this project. The Grimbean is my favorite from the batch. He is my bastardization of Marcus' and Matt's baby. Beantastic!

Killgrim is a fusion of Callgrim parts, the KiLL Flatty Phantom of the Flatwoods toy and some of the descriptions reported of the Flatwoods alien. The head sculpt is a fusion of the look of the standard Grey and Callgrim.
